The thing is guys, I never use only the psd you know, I always make some adjustments on the caps before saving it. I made this cap example, I hope you guys understand (my english is terrible but I’ll try to explain lol).01: I put the coloring on the cap (this coloring can be found here) and I add a new layer below the psd and choose one color that I know will match with the background color of the cap.02: Brush tool (the smooth one) and decrease the opacity levels so it can be very hm.. how can I say, not exaggerated. Paint around the cap, only the background.03: New layer above the coloring and paint it with black.04: Choose another color that you think will match with the background color, not dark colors but a stronger color, I choosed orange as you can see. Then paint the places where you want to make more bright on the cap.05: After that, set the blend mode of the layer to color overlay (I don’t know if this is the correct term, sooo, you set the layer to that one that makes your cap more bright). Then decrease the opacity level to 70%. Merge layers.06: Duplicate the layer.07: Add gaussian blur.08: With the erase tool, erase the faces. Merge layers. Sharpen once.09: To finish (you can put on the cap separately or only when you finish your graphic, put on the top of it) Color fill, color: #6e203a. Blend mode: lighten. Opacity level: 60%.See the difference. I really hope it helps, I always do the same thing in pratically every cap I only change the colors. And check this post for some colorings I used on the One Day graphic. :’)
